Grow Ohio uses beneficial insects as our primary IPM approach.  Plant heath is monitored through an aggressive scouting of plants throughout their life cycle.

Buckeye Relief plants are grown according to clean and sustainable cultivation standards.  The following preventative substances are approved by the OMMCP and the Organic Materials Review Institute:

Pesticides are used as a last resort, primary during vegetation, including the following preventative applications:  Citric Acid, Extract of Reynoutria sachalinensis, Hydrogen Peroxide, Mineral Oil, Pyrethrins, Azadirachtin, Lemongrass Oil, Peppermint Oil, and Geranium Oil.  All applications are approved by the OMMCP.

Pure Ohio Wellness utilizes an integrated pest management (IPM) program centered around deploying beneficials predatory insects and environmental control.  Rarely, circumstances require us to use OMRI listed organic pesticides of Neem Oil or Hydrogen Peroxide with Peroxyacetic Acid in the form of spot foliar applications on some of our plants in the earliest stages.

There has been discussion around the Ohio Medical Marijuana program regarding the use of pesticides in cultivation facilities. We would like to take this opportunity to address this issue.

Riviera Creek never uses pesticides of any kind in our cultivation facility. We proudly state that fact directly on the front of our package and that statement will always remain. Hopefully this letter will help ensure that our dispensary-partners completely understand our methodology.

Riviera Creek cultivates aeroponically, in one of the most advanced facilities in the country. Our nutrients are applied directly onto the roots of the plants, without the use of a growing medium, soil or substrate. Our growing environments are designed to resist pathogens and pests, which is why we have never had an instance of spider mites or other type of nuisance.

Pesticides will not be used in our operation, including Neem Oil, which we consider a pesticide. We strive for perfection in creating the highest quality medicine possible for the patients in Ohio, and we will continue to provide that in the cleanest and purest environment possible.
